The Student Council (Fachschaftsrat: FSR)
The student council represents the student body for several degree programs of this department. This means that we provide you with independent services, represent you and your fellow students vis-à-vis other institutions and advise you on questions regarding your studies and the course of your studies. In addition, we represent the student council in a number of committees of the faculty and beyond and thus safeguard the interests of the students.
The council is made up of members of the student council who work on a voluntary basis. Of course, anyone who wants to get involved in the student council's work can do so. Just come along to a student council meeting without any obligation and find out about the opportunities for participation. We also always need active support when planning events. The student council lives from people like you!

Counselling
One of the core tasks of the student council is to help you with all kinds of concerns. Our counselling services are aimed equally at students and prospective students. Our counselling is individual, personal, non-binding and, of course, free of charge. If you wish, we can also offer confidential counselling and refer you to counselling centres inside and outside the university. Just send us an email. Representation
As a student council, we represent the students in the Department of Electrical Engineering for the degree programmes: Electrical Engineering and Information Technology, Information and Communication Technology, Electrical Engineering Teacher Training (LABG2016, Vocational Education). In addition, there is a whole range of bodies in which we help to shape everyday study life:
